Draft. Cloudy dark yellow body. Pillowy white head. Aroma of clove, banana and nail polish remover. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Lots of bitterness instead of classic tartness. But there is an underlying taste of nail polish remover. Thin to medium body, watery texture turning sticky. Lively carbonation. Couldn’t finish it because of the off taste.

On tap at New Albanian. Sweet malt, banana, sweet orange aroma. Cloudy golden with a small white head. Orange, bread, light hop finish in the flavor. Light bodied.

tap - This brew smells mainly of pine rich hops. The flavor features moderate to strong hop bitterness with pine and herbal notes with a little citrus. Why did I get those characteristics more than the fruit everyone else reported? I have no idea. There’s also caramel malt for balance and a long bitter finish. It’s very good and is definitely on the high end of the bitterness scale for APAs.

tap at Brew Haven beer fest - Pours very dark brown. Vanilla really comes through in the aroma along with the expected roast malt. The flavor is of vanilla, chocolate malt, and -- maybe my notes (or my palate!) are confused here as I see no mention of barrel aging -- a trace of bourbon. It’s medium to full bodied and has a lingering roast finish. Very good.

tap at Brew Haven beer fest as "citra cycle IPA" (is it the same beer?) - This brew has an assertive aroma of herbal and citrus hops. The big, crisp flavor is of citrus and especially grapefruit accented hops that lend a high level of bitterness that’s well balanced by malt in the background. It’s medium bodied and very well done, possibly the highlight for me at the fest.

Tap. Strong pine hops and light malt aroma. Cloudy pale yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet orange malt flavor initially followed by a strong bitter pin hops finish. Tasty.

Tasted from bottle @Dark Lord Day. So they said it has most of the ingredients of a glazed ham including pineapple and maraschino cherry. A solid dark brown,with alight, tannish head. Smell has clove and other ham spices. Taste does involve a little cherry and some citrus.Some clove spiciness.
