Drought at Zwolf Apostel brewpub.. Hazy pale yellow with very small white foamy head, doughy aroman slightly sour yeast taste, very little hops, bitter finish. Interesting place but not an interesting beer.

Draught @ Zwölf Apostel, Rosenberger Strasse 1, Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany 60313.Light unclear matt medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light tart citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet, light acidic and bitter with a long duration, caramel, tart citrus, sour milk. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20121001]

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet, light acidic and bitter with a average to long duration, tart citrus, chalk, malty, fresh. Draft. An unclear brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of hay and caramel, as well as lighter notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, as well as lighter notes of bread and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Mild süßlich-hopfiger und getreidiger Antrunk, ähnlich wie das Helle wirkt auch dieses Bier oberflählich. Süffig, die Aromen schwirren schnell an einem vorbei. Zum Ende laff, wenig würzig.

Hopfig-säuerlicher Antrunk mit grasigem Stich. Relativ mild, der Hopfen steht in weiten Teilen alleine da. Etwas bitter, süffig, oberflächlich.

(draught at the brewpub) Hazy, chestnut colour with a short and slightly beige foamy head. Dusty and ashy, slightly toasty malty nose with grassy and herbal hops in the background. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Ashy malty taste with dusty notes and herbal hops; quite slim malty and delicately hoppy finish. 04.V.10

(draught at the brewpub) Hazy, yellow colour with a short but firm eggshell-coloured foamy head. Dusty, moderately sweet pale malty nose with yeasty and herbal, also slightly grassy hoppy notes. Yeasty and slightly hop bitter flavour with a mild malty sweetness; pretty balanced but also one-dimensional herbal and yeasty finish. On tap. Cloudy and opaque orangey brown with a dense, off-white head leaving laces. Sweet, clean aroma of roasted malt. Medium body, sweet roasted malts, a little low in carbonation and perhaps a vague underlying tartness. Very discreet bitterness. Fresh and quenching alright. 160709
