Bottle. An almost clear yellow orange beer with a small, dense, white head. The aroma is fruity and floral, on the citrusy side, with little impact from the malts. The flavor is dominated by citrus, not only lemon as the name suggests, but also orange and grapefruit. There’s some biscuity malts in the back, with some bitterness up front. Pleasant carbonation, medium mouthfeel, and it’s quite dry on the palate. Long citrusy finish with a touch of saison-ish yeast. Overall, a quite pleasant one, easy drinkable and moreish. 161127

Bottle. A small, dense, light beige head forms over a hazy, orange colored body. The aroma is rather weak I think. Mostly on the fruity side, with some grapefruit notes and a touch of peppery yeast. It’s medium bodied, nicely carbonated and semi-dry, with a little bitterness in the back of the flavor. Fruityness, grapefruit, grape and honey melon, some spiced hints and a touch of malts too. Medium length finish with grapefruit dominating. Rather weak though, just as the initial flavor. A quite disappointing one, lacking on both depth, complexity and more-ness. 161126

Bottle. An unclear orange-golden beer with a foamy off-white head of three-finger size. Some lacing. The aroma has lots of peach/passionfruit, some physalis and orange, and a sugary touch. Not much maltyness going on, but it’s a tad yeasty I think. It’s quite rather effervescent, medium bodied and semi-dry, with a mostly peach and passionfruit flavor. The bitterness feels a bit harsh, and in the back there’s a little bready maltyness and a wee hint of caramel. Lasting harsh bitter finish with passionfruit and some orange zest. And even some yeast. The carbonation level and yeast pushes this beer in the direction of troublesome, the harsh bitterness doesn’t help. But there’s lots of goodyness going on too, fortunately. 161021

0.5l bottle from N276. It's a somewhat dark and definitely cloudy looking one this. Almost a little bronze copper in color and on the top a really good looking big and lasting mild beige head. Smells le superb! So fresh and piney all the way. Citrussy, pear, some branch bitterness. Loaded with hoppy goodness. Tastes much the same also. Really well hopped, but it's not too bitter or medicinal. Thick and oily in the mouth and it's just about average and almost a little creamy on the carbonation. Branches, almost a little tropical, old citrus. Lots if flavor but it's never too much. Nice one! 02.07.2016

On tap @ Bergen Ølfestival 2016. Pours almost opaque light yellow, with a small creamy head. Aroma is weissen yeast with wheat, hay and lemon peel. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is crisp wheat, grass and hay. A bit boring, and one dimensional.

500 ml bottle. Rather clear golden body with a short living, small white head. Aroma has some grapefruit and hint of pale malt, Flavoris sweet fruity, some grapefruit and slightly harsh. Medium body and short aftertaste. Not much Saison qualities here, feels a bit unbalanced and not a big hit in my book.
