Description
The more than 725-year-old beer tradition in Litovel dates back to 1291, when King Wenceslas II granted the city the mile right. This privilege allowed only the Litovel burghers to brew and tap beer within a radius of one medieval mile, i.e. in a vicinity of approximately seven kilometres. In the Middle Ages, beer was brewed in a brewing house, which was then located at Litovel 57. Those with brewing rights were among the most affluent people, and played a significant role in managing the city. Even contemporary Litovel beer is brewed using classic processes, the roots of which date back to this glorious historical era.

Tap. Looks nice and that's pretty much it. Very very strong metallic feel on both tongue and nose. Meh

Bottle. Medium body, med-high carbonation. Med-high sweetness, syrupy, caramel. Not much roast, actually close to none. Moderate bitterness, with light astringency. Feels watery, caramelly. Average.

0,5 bottle.A classic beer bottle, which is typical of us. The beer is not ugly, golden yellow, clean, has a very large, nice white foam. Aroma: not so intense, but very "smooth". Hop-malt balance, Czech beer aroma. By the time I started tasting, the nice foam had faded ... The taste was a little deceptive. It fits into the middle of the rather carbonated, basic Czech-Pilsner hop use, bitterness category. There is nothing extra in it for me. In the old days, when I was twenty, these were better quality beers. Today I would expect more from a Czech premium beer. A little watery, a little sweet-nauseating, alcoholic. Not real for me ... The aftertaste is sour :(

Mire kóstolni kezdtem, a szép hab elapadt... Az íze picit csalóság. Eléggé szénsavas, alap- cseh-pilseni komlóhasználat, keserűség kategória közepébe illik. Nincs benne semmi plusz számomra. Régen, huszon-éves koromban ilyenek voltak a jobb minőségi sörök..
