Benannt nach einem der Brauereigründer namens Josef Svozil, welcher auch vom Etikett lächelt. Ein etwas stärkeres, volles Lagerbier, das zwar nette malzige Aromen hat, aber sonst eher einfach ist. Kann man gerne trinken, aber wirklich vom Hocker reißt es mich nicht.

Appearance: Clear deep amber wit a decent ivory- coloured head. Aroma and taste: Toasted malt, grain, fruity notes, spicy and rassy hop. Initially light sweet. Light to medium bitter ending. Mouth feel: Medium body, average carbonation. Overall: Enjoyable.

Bottle, 6.1%. Spicy, caramelly and yeasty aroma. Clear light amber colour. Good stable creamy whitish head. The flavour is caramelly with a faint spicy hop note. Distinct but clean bitterness in the finish. Caramelly aftertaste.

Bottle, a kind donation from Kappldav123! Hazy, deep golden amber colour with a mid sized white head. Fruity yeasty hint on the nose. Medium bodied, malty base with some caramel and intense roasty flavours reminding me of dark bread crust. Shy yeasty fruity hints and a pleasant hoppy touch in the finish. Smooth palate.

500ml bottle as Czech Royal Beer Amber. Pours clear amber with a tall off-white head. Aroma is caramel, herbs, hops, malt. Taste is light sweet, caramel, herbal hop. Medium bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice small head. Starts fine malty, spicy, some herbal notes as well. Vegetables. Mild sweetish notes in the background. Finish well balanced. Spicy-malty aftertaste. Not bad!

Clear amber large off-white frothy head of Good retention. Aroma:grain, crackers, caramel, Saaz hop, some dried fruits. Taste: pretty similar. Medium dry, medium bitter. Pleasant hoppy ending. Mouth feel: medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: not bad.

Bottled. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, some bready tones with mild herbs and some floral tones. Flavour is grassy, herbal, some mild earthy and mild diacetyl sweetness. Grassy bitter tones in the finish.
