12 oz bottle from the winter variety pack. Aroma is bready, roasty, dark fruit. Pours hazy dark amber with a collapsing beige head. Taste is sweet, savory and a little tart with flavors of licorice, metal, bread, caramel. The metal offnote goes away after a few minutes, leaving a pretty decent tasting brew. Creamy and medium-bodied. Not too bad, even with its flaws.

From bottle to wine glass. Moderate malt on the aroma. Biscuit. Clear chestnut with full white head. The flavor is moderately low malt with faint dark fruit. No alcohol warming. Beer finished with a medium-thin mouthfeel and quickly. Expected much more malt.

Purchased at Albertsons in their make your 6-pack, in Vegas. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a big creamy white head, good retention and lots of sticky lace. Smells like apricot shampoo. The taste is kind of weird as well, with the blend between the fruit and the wheat. Maybe it’s natural and I am not used it ? Maybe too fake ?? Prefer the McAuslan Apricot one.

Bottle: Poured an amber with a finger frothy off white head. Aroma is a mix of hops and sweet malts. Taste is floral hops with a sweet malt balance, not harsh for an DIPA.
