Draft pour pint at Pyramid, pre game baseball beer. The Mariners haven't lost in the 14 games I've been to this year, and we are running out of games. I'll take season tickets if it helps the team! The beer pours a dark copper caramel color. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Flavor has an obvious smokey element to it, which is pretty nice. Roasted. Peaty malt, rich caramel to balance. Lingering sweet and toasty paired finish. Definitely feels as strong as it is. Has a definite boozy side to it. Interesting scotch ale. Enjoyed it.

Bottle from Total Wine, Lynnwood, WA
Bright amber color. Caramel based beer, malty, sweet, almost more Barley Wine than IIPA, good but not what is expected as IIPA.

355ml bottle. Clear, orangey amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Resinous, sultry, sweaty, hoppy aroma, almost a touch of purulence, hints of grapefruit, candied orange zest, marmalade, a touch of liquorice and aniseed. Taste is caramel malty, resinous and minimally citrusy hoppy, hints of grapefruit, boilt down orange juice, a touch of aniseed and liquorice. A bit outworn...

12 oz can poured, after enjoying a couple out of the can from the six pack under the sun last weekend. A good beer for either occasion. Darker copper orange pour. Citrus juicy aroma, some malt bite, and a slight sweet indicator. Flavor is a pleasant bitter grapefruit throughout. A bite to it. A sturdy malt backbone. Flavorful, and pleasant drinking IPA here. A little different than a typical offering. Good, inexpensive six pack to pair with the summer weather.

Can split at James’s, thanks to Endo, 01/07/17. Golden copper with a decent off white head. Nose is tangerine, melon, orange peel, toasted bread, Taste comprises caramel malts, bread dough, light grapefruit, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with modest hop bitterness. Old skool IPA ... nothing I’d look to revisit.

Dark amber and hazy. Thin head. Big chewy nose, and on the palate it’s really only a little bit less chewy. Bitter but also quite sweet and some alcohol in the finish. Old school IIPA, but today just seems dated.

Cloudy like a NE style IPA.
Semi tart apricot and wheat aroma. Smells like the pits were thrown in.
Tastes like it smells. Not too sweet not too tart.
I had this years ago. Didn’t like it back then.

On draught at Buffalo wild wings.
Cloudy orange with a lot of foam. Decent lacing.
Man is that nose light. Wheat, only hints of it really. As far as spices and fruits go, I don’t get any. Same goes for the taste. This is a Wheat ale not a Hefeweizen.
