Draft pour at the brewery. Pours a copper color with a very mild malt citrus aroma. Bitter hops on the flavor. This is a good IPA, but the flavor is pretty mild to me. Kind of an empty finish as well. What I do taste is all good, but Iβm left wanting a little more. Overall this is a good beer though, very drinkable. Smooth flavor. Good stuff.

On cask at Seattle Winter Beer Festival 2014, pours black with a tiny tan head. Aroma brings out coffee beans upfront, followed by cocoa nibs. Flavour isn't really that robust, with notes of subdued coffee / espresso beans upfront. Not very thick or robust on the palate. Missing some oomph, but this is still nice and drinkable. Decent.

On cask at Seattle Winter Beer Festival 2014, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small beige head. Nose is very hoppy, with notes of resinous hops above all, some pine, and a dry caramely biscuity malt backing. Flavour is well-balanced, with lots of resinous and piney hops, lots of dry hopping quality, and a dry caramel malt base. Smooth, dry and hoppy. Well-balanced and drinkable. Good stuff.

Rating the cask version, which is a lot better than the standard. Super hazy orange color with a thick long lasting head. Well done appearance for a cask. Very fresh bouquet of C hops with the yeast and malts of a British IPA (tea, biscuit). As is often for their beers its like London but with fresh American hops.

Draft at the brewery. Pours copper with a semi spicy hop aroma. A lot of tropical fruit flavors. Getting some banana in there too. Very nice drinking IPA. Floral hop finish. Very well done.
