Can from Stacks. Hazy ochre, stable, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of peach, nectarine, tangerine, orange peel, cheese rind, onion, lime. Taste has sweetish tangerine & peach, bitter grapefruit and dank, bit spicy onion in a doughy, bit dry cracker-like malt body. Floral & peppery hops in the finish, lingering juicy stone fruit, bitter citrus peel & pith. Medium body, fluffy texture, soft carbonation. Quite dry and bitter with sufficient juiciness, very good.

Teku showing turbid dark gold with half a finger of clean white foam.
The nose shows moderately intense notes of mango, kiwi, and light notes of cannabis and grapefruit.
The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Grapefruit forward with lighter notes of mango and kiwi followed by a balanced and sharp grapefruit bitterness on the finish.

Late 2024 or earlyish 2025 bottle "drunk" 7/27/25.
Dark, thick, viscous with an oily, adjunct film on top and little head. Undetermined clarity.
Maybe some slight bourbon folded in with lots of fudge and adjunct. Some acidity. Not boozey. The nose doesn't show much clarity of what this beer is doing and doesn't even remotely prepare you for your first sip....
Which is wildly, wildly dominated by both adjunct and sugar. Well, they certainly got their cookie character as they've bludgeoned the beer with adjunct. And there's the sugar. There's no respite from it and it's difficult to find much more than a slight bourbon hint in the very background here. Thick, sweet, syrupy, massively underattenuated. Just a real, awful, disappointing mess of a beer, true to the series (though even the other members of this series I've had had a better base beer than this).

22 oz bottle thank you Clarkvv on the share. Gosh damn that is coconut!! Thick body with a oily texture. A lot of chocolate, coconut, and sugar. Too much sugar in the finish. Is there bourbon here?? This is for new age beer drinkers that don’t actually like stouts. Gosh damn my blood sugar spiked through the roof after drinking a few ounces of this crap!

Bottle shared by ClarkVV--thanks Clark. Inky, inky black, viscous up the wazoo! Aroma is cocoa, vanilla, background bourbon. Taste is strong fudge brownie, vanilla, earthy malt, mild bourbon. Thick, full bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Super thick dessert beer. Needs more bourbon presence to offset the sweetness.

22 oz bottle. Thank you Clarkvv for the share. Aroma is cake batter, hazelnut and chocolate. Wow, the flavor is sweet. The brownie/ cake batter character is bold. Maple candy, vanilla. The texture is very thick and viscous. Oily. Barrel is barely here. Sugary as all hell. Yikes!!

500mL bottle drunk 7/26/25.
Dark, undetermined clarity. Tan head quickly recedes to ring.
This must have almond in it, or hazelnut, or something like that. Bourbon is moderate, tasteful, round and lightly spicy with some sweetness and no alcohol or burn. Salted caramel? Something definitely adjuncted, but it's all pretty tasteful. Though with warming and breathing, the adjunct dominates and the barrel gets lost.
Soft, sweet, malty, fudgey and with a cakey-salted caramel and hazelnut-like character. Is there lactose? Something acidic/tangy that seems lactose-like. Bourbon is spicy, sweet, not all that prominent, honestly. Light, tasteful vanilla and lingering brownie batter. Acidity ever-present to keep it drinkable, but I just don't know if I can get behind the adjunct being more prominent than the barrel. Not boozey and pretty sweet. Guess it depends how much you like brownies, hazelnut and/or salted caramel.
