Bottle looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass very dark, almost black. Starts mild, modest malty-yeasty, not as roasty as exspected. A little bit fruity-nutty. Finish still very mild, a bit drier. All in all too washy.

The bottle looks very simple, but good. The beer in the glass is zippy, nice head. Starts malty and a bit moldy-grasy, modest sourish. Finish a bit fresher, a bit grasy. Well balanced and quite drinkable. Good beer!

GERMAN BEER #2000 bottle, Dank an pivnizub! Deep brown colour, nearly black, with an aroma of chocolate. Intensively malty with a nice roasty character, lots of chocolate, caramel and raisins. Low carbonation, pleasant on the palate. A fine brew.

bottle, courtesy of pivnizub! Hazy golden colour with a arge white head. Wheaty nose. Rather light-bodied with some nice malty-wheaty flavours and a shy touch of fruit.

bottle, donated by pivnizub. Clear golden yellow, tiny head. Malty with a fruity touch (fresh apple?) and some resiny-grassy hops. Very low carbonation. An eccentric Helles, but I do like it.

bottle, delivered by pivnizub - Danke! Clear golden yellow, small head, low carbonation. Aroma of freshly pressed apple juice. Medium-bodied, pleasantly malty with shy aromatic and bitter hop hints, also flavours of fresh apples, fresh apple jucie and apple cellar. Interesting and quite nice.

(bottle) Clear, ruby brown colour with a short off-white foamy layer. Sweet toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel, light molasses and shades of herbal hops. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a flat carbonation. Slightly sticky toast-malty taste with caramel, light Blockmalz-character (molasses); sweet toasty finish with a shy hoppy bitterness and herbal notes. The brewery has obviously serious problems with their bottle filling. 13.XI.09
