Can from Wegmans. Medium to dark brown with orange. Quite effervescent. Nutty caramel nose with dark chocolate and apple and grape. Rich, malty flavor. Caramel and chocolate, nutty and toasty. Some fruit. Slightly smoky. Medium body. Nice.

Can. Deep amber orange color with a medium head. Malty nose. Toast, fruity esters, bread. Sweet, rich malt. Toast, light caramel, bread. Rich and smooth. Herbal, bitter and grainy finish. Well done maibock.

Can from Wegmans. Very deep amber to brown. Orange tints. More like a dunkel. Nutty and toasty nose with caramel and fruit. Apple and orange. Very malty flavor. Caramel leads. Toast, nuts, some raisins. Grainy and lightly bitter finish. Herbal. This seems like a dunkel to me, but it’s a good one. Quite malty and delicious.

Taster fight at brewery. Copper colored pour, head fades to ring. malty aroma, mild sweetness. Taste is malty, bready sweet with a really slick feel. Right in the ballpark.
