Bottled@fonefan. Pale yellowish golden colour, no head. Aroma is honey, some raisins, mild herbs as well as some sweetness. Flavour is honey, some herbs, earth, mild nectar and alcohol. Still quite dryish palate.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a hazy golden with no head. Heavy X-mas spices in the nose – cinnamon and cloves come to mind. Medium body, very sweet honey, prunes and overripe fruit with quite a warming alcohol sensation. Nice one. 230313

Bottle 750ml. clear glass - corked.[ Courtesy of fiulijn ]. Clear medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate honey, flowers, orange, spicy, light cinnamon. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, spicy, cinnamon, orange, honey. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20120617]

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Hazy pale golden. Aroma of orange, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sweet, near full bodied, orange and heating alcohol. Intensely warming. Plenty of spice and honey.

Bottle. A clear, oily mead with some notes of yellow. Flowery honey aroma with some alcohol. Very dry, quite full-bodied and oily. Honey and flowers in the flavor too, rather straight forward and boring. Well, there’s not much to be said about this one, it’s far from foul, but utterly boring and not very interesting. 120622
