On tap at the philly brewpub. Sure fire hoppy floral arma, rather fresh. Reddish orange in color. Seems to have all the good flavors of hops without being overly bitter. Little carbonation. Rather friendly and not too offensive for hops, which I don’t care for. Lingering medium bitter finish that is easy to accomodate.

On tap at the philly brewpub. IPA floral hop aroma. Clear reddish orange in color. Alky flavors greet the taste buds. This is listed as an amber, but I bet it would qualify as an IPA in many beer rating circles. Ooooh boy, quite bitter. However, the bitterness does not hang as with IPA, it seems to be a bit more controlled with manners. Very little carbonation. Quite strong hops. Alky finish on the palate for a while. You know you are drinking a beer with ABV near 7%.

On tap at the philly brewpub. Smells like an IPA, floral hop aroma. The taste however is a little more laid back than the Palasades ale I tasted earlier. The color of my sample was quite lighter than is shown here. This is bitter, but not in your face bitter like an IPA. Rather controlled with the hop bite. Just enough hops to let you know it is an ale with personality. Medium bitter hop finish.

On tap at the philly brewpub. Some volatile alky in the aroma. Clear and slight orange in color. Low to medium carbonation greets the palate. Good representation of a fest beer. Nice fest flavors but has a little more bitterness present than I like in a fest. Lingering medium bitter finish.

On tap at th philly brewbub. Good clean slight floral aroma. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color and appearance. Very little carbonation. Comes on rather smooth, like many manayunk brews, but it evolves into a rather medicinal IPA palate. Lingering bitter finish. Interesting developement of flavors. This has much more personality than many golden ales I’ve sampled. It behaves more like an intense APA.

On tap at the philly brewpub. Slight pumpkin spice aroma. Reddish in color but pretty clear. Pumpkin spice flavors. Starts of rather mild then morphs into a veggie medium bitter personality. Barely any carbonation. Typical veggie spice pumpkin beer.
