1/5/2018. Keg at the Box Social, Newcastle. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of mint, dark chocolate, cola and light roasting. Medium mint chocolate sweetness, minimal bitterness. Medium to full body, slick texture, average carbonation. Good. But in small doses.

Handpull cask at the Head of Steam, Leicester. Middle of the road golden with a slight reddish tint. Clear with no head. Jammy floral scent, I'm getting less elderflower than hibiscus and some sugary raspberry. Tastes a bit jarring with an odd astringency jamming the frequency on the flower petal sweetness. Sweet herbal finish. Flat body. Mixed bag but good enough overall.

Keg at Port St Beer House. Pours orange gold with little head. Aroma is orange, chalky mineral and soap. Taste is pretty much really strong a bitter orange, soap and a little booze. Just doesn't balance very well and is pretty terrible as a result.
