Bottle. Poured hazy brown with slight white head. Not a lot of aroma - slightly sweet. Medium body and carbonation. Flavour is very sweet, slightly fruity with no bitterness.Overall - disappointing - not quite sugar water, but close.

Bottled (from bierzwerg). Something between amber and copper colour with a mediumsized creamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet and bready malt with some mild floral notes. Flavour is quite similar with some slight cardboardy and herbal/hayish notes. Not all thay much hops in this one...

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear brown-golden colour, no head. Fizzy palate, like a soft drink, sweetish malty flavours dominate, very shy hoppy touch. Rfresehing it is, but it feels more like a malty lemonade.

Attractive 33cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Copper with a loose, fast fading, cream head; aroma of stewed malts; incredibly thin with some weak caramel, and a predominantly cardboard finish with some stale hops. A disappointment.

From a 330ml bottle on 23/11/2010. Pours amber and exhibits the faintest of fruit aromas. It’s thin and watery in the mouth, and has very low carbonation. There is a tiny bit of sweet malt and dark fruit flavour evident. Despite it carrying the words’ India Pale Ale’, there’s nary a hop to be detected. A bland, weak beer.

[I wasn’t expecting an IPA, so no confounding of expectations are in this note.] Attractively labelled bottle. Clear brown with a creamy beige head that fades a bit. Medium bead. Grain and light caramel aroma with a very little grass. Very watery. Slight caramel taste. Sweet grainy finish. Poor.

Pours dark amber with a quickly fading head.Nose shows dirty malt with lots of vegetal notes and a fair whack of caramel. Faint resinous note.Flavours aren’t so bad, showing caramel amber malt. Unfortunately some of the vegetal notes are still present.Pretty light body, carbonation is too high.

Bottled. A pale golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw, citrus and a bit of malt - though a bit boring. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus, malt, metal, and a bit of cardboard, leading to a dry cardboardy finish
