Description
Launched in 2012 by by Thomas Vogel, Dave Mobley, and brewmaster Troy Smith, Belching Beaver Brewery evolved from a desire to make great beer and have a ‘Dam Good Time’ doing it. The award-winning craft beer company is focused on two things: First, have a brand that offers quality craft beer, while also being whimsical and fun to inspire good times. Each Belching Beaver beer release carries its own individual style and personality. Second, make beer for everyone and all palates. Our San Diego Brewery hosts 5 different locations serving craft beer you're going to love, of which the Oceanside Brewhouse is the production brewery.

Draft. A cloudy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of exotic fruit, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of exotic fruits, spices, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Can from Canada Craft Club Jan 2024 shipment. Very dark clear cola colour with a small short lived dark beige cap that leaves spotty lace. Nose is roasted peanuts, dark chocolate, molasses, coffee and cinnamon. Medium- molasses sweetness with a similar coffee and dark chocolate bitterness. Mouth is full and creamy with soft carbonation. The peanut had me worried but was much more balanced in the taste than in the nose. 7+/3+/8-/4/15

Can (from Beer Republic). Honeyish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet honey, some grains and mild toffee as well as some floral and fruity tones. Flavour is honey, some slight tart fruity tones, mild earthy and a bit salty and grassy bitterness. Flavour is not really fresh anymore... and on the verge of some some infection thing?

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours hazy gold with a huge foamy white head. Aroma is tropical fruits. Med body. It's juicy, but not all that far from dry. Moderately bitter. Mango, citrus, pale stone fruit over detectible pale malt support. Flavor so good the mouth sort of aches with it.
