Can from Hopt. As Belching Beaver Mexican Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout. Big peanut butter aroma with cocoa, chocolate, fudge, cinnamon, hazelnuts, caramel, roasted malt, vanilla. Flavour is medium sweet with a moderate roasty bitterness. Body is above medium. Lovely peanut and chocolate. Sweet chocolate with lots of peanut butter in the aroma, I have a soft spot for this.

Can from Canada Craft Club Jan 2024 shipment. Very dark clear cola colour with a small short lived dark beige cap that leaves spotty lace. Nose is roasted peanuts, dark chocolate, molasses, coffee and cinnamon. Medium- molasses sweetness with a similar coffee and dark chocolate bitterness. Mouth is full and creamy with soft carbonation. The peanut had me worried but was much more balanced in the taste than in the nose. 7+/3+/8-/4/15

A: hazy black, small, beige head.
A: peanut butter, chocolate powder, mocha, hazelnut paste.
T: sweet milk chocolate, hazelnut, bitter peanut butter.
F: earthy hops, bitter coffee & dry peanut butter, some spicy cinnamon.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
PB all the way, but less sweet than expected.

Draught at Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Dry liquorice and burnt plastic aroma. Black colour. Small stable light brown head. The flavour tastes of rum. Pungent dark rum. Sugar cane, burnt plastic, perhaps peat. Salt liquorice. A little jammy sweetness. Strange and not really what I was expecting.

Draught @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with small tan head. Clear aroma of roast and yeast, with honts of chocolate and cake. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of peanut butter, yeast, coffee and malt, and touches of dried fruit. Bitter, roasty aftertaste with peanut butter and spicy hints. Decent.

Can 47,3 cl. Pours an opaque black with a ceamy, light brown head. Sweet and intense hazelnut aroma with an almond edge. Rich and rather sweet - flavor wise perhaps more peanut than hazelnut. Sweet, faint roast and plenty of vanilla with little bitterness. I suspect this gets cloying rather quickly, but delish in small doses. 190922
