Vintage 1998, 6½ years old
Cloudy copper color; huge foam; nice lace. Beautiful aroma, cellar, cobwebs, gently sweet. Good mouthfeel, not so sour, but really astringent.
Lovely and easily drinkable; Jens Ungstrup and me are having it with our Sunday brunch at PlanB, and this is the perfect match to it!

Bottled 375ml, alc. 5%, 2003 vintage (bottled 03-02-2003)
Slightly hazy honey golden color, small creamy head, lively champagne carbonation. Nose has strong sourness, sweaty horse blanket and grassy hops - certainly not "My First Beer" -nose. Very earthy and salty with sharp sour and tart apple juice flavor (and some balsamico and grapefruit too). Lemony, dry citric acidic, hoppy and sour finish and aftertaste. Very complex and very demanding beer.

2016-10-19, bottled 2005, 11 years old, 8-4-7-4-16=39
Cloudy red color with small carbonation. The aroma of cherries is penetrating, complex (8.5). The mouthfeel is soft, it has enough carbonation, strong tartness, and moderate cherry flavor. Moderate astringency in the final.
Very nice.

Red color; flat. Some cherry and cherry kernels aroma, and sourness, of course. Very dry, not as complex as the Framboos, but honestly sour.

Vintage 1999, 5 ½ years old
Amber color; the head disappears quickly. Solid Lambic, smells like a wonderful Gueuze, later some raspberry appears… Lovely, so real and so sour (but low fruitness).

Bottle, 6%. Very nice earthy notes in the aroma, sour and clean. Cloudy orange colour. Very small white head. The flavour is very citric, but also very clean. Good and lactic, beautiful earthiness. The carbonation is a bit high.

draught on handpump Hazy amber; amberish, dirty-brown head. VERY Brett - horseblanket nose, with citrus, waylayed eggs, farmyard. Quite sweet, with all the lambicflavours in the background (lemon, horseblanket). Sweetness is just a tad too outspoken. Actually quite well-bodied. it’s syrupy, the candisyrup just cannot be ignored. If I have to drink faro, let it be this. I can say that, being the first mortal to obtain this ever in bottled form from the brewery, already aeons ago...

Moldy, wooden and hayish nose. Cloudy orange/yellow, low head. Dry wooden notes vs a fresh white vine flavor (tastes like a alsace riesling).
