Bottle at ΓΈlbaren, cph. vintage 2002, tasted dec 2009 cloudy orange, small white head. Aroma is brett, sourish, super well balanced. flavor is dry, bertty, sour grape, citrus, definetly one of the best sour’ ales i’ve ever had, no off flavors, just good taste all around.

Bottled on 23/02/06. Pours golden orange color and is totally flat, no carbonaton. Aroma is all funk. Flavor is moderately sour and funky. Medium body with zero carbonation. Good, but I think the lack of carbonation takes a little away fom this beer.

Bottle dated 14/02/2007, bought at the brewery store in July 2008, consumed on 21/11/2009. Appearance is bright purple, starts clear and progresses to cloudy/chunky due to my poor pouring skills. Soda-pop head that starts vigorously but disappears in seconds to leave no bubbles or lacing. Smell changes every nanosecond. Vinegar, sour cherries, horse, raspberries, dust, and about a million other things - all at the same time. Taste was amazing. Defies words. Sweet and sour all at once. Evident fruit. Must, dust and mold, and sweaty animals. Vinegar, the high end balsamic type from Modena. Mouthfeel is orgasmic. Drinkability is top of the line, not just for lambics, but for all beer. Nothing short of miraculous.

At a tasting, many thanks DSG, no head, murky orangy colour, aromas of lemon vinegar, white fruits, moss and manure, quite sour with some white fruits but a bit one dimensional. Very pleasant lambic.

Bottled at 3rd Brugs BF, as Oude Kriek. Light hazy deep red/burgundy colour, pink head. Aroma of cherry pits, funk, sourness, some wood. Flavour is sour, very sour with some cherries. Nothing more. Light to medium bodied. Not my style of beer.

21st May 2008. Nice Geuze for me (a non sour lover). Not too sharp or dry but not much fruit either. A Pleasant puckerer! Goes down very easily with a lip smack at the end! 3.1

Bottle. The color was amber-like, however, a fairly light one. The foam was large, white and fluffy. Lovely aromas with a characteristic odor of Gueuze. A lot of funk and lemon as well as wood and earth. Nice sour taste with lemon and apples . Also some yeast, wood. A refreshing and very drinkable Gueuze.
