Bottle@home. The bottle looks really great, the beer in the glass also. Starts complex-sourish with woody notes, not too intense. Strong, modest dry in the background. Sourish taste turns almost spicy in the finish. Very well balanced, great warming aftertaste. A masterpiece!

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm) Hazy amber colour with brief, white head. Almost still. Tart, fruity, musty nose with citrus, grapefruit, apple juice, old socks and barnyard. Tart and musty taste with notes of grapefruit, green apples, sour grapes and sweaty horse. Possibly not as tart and complex as the usual gueuze, but a very fresh and tasty beer.

Pours ruby red. Smells of soil and sourness. Tastes tart, blood grapefruit and cherrys. Surprisingly well balanced

Bottle. Look: Deep red, pinkish, hazy short lasting head. Smell: Earthy, wine sourness. Taste: Very tart. Not as sour as lambics can be. The cherry is not as sweet as it can be, rather earthy.

Bottle ’06 vintage: Golden color with a light haze. No real head to speak of. Potent aroma of fruity, sour, and tart. The taste is strong with mouth puckerin’ sour, tart, and fruity vinous notes. Getting a bit of that funky, barnyard thing too. Another fun gueuze.

appears hazy orange, small white thick head aroma is very dry, stable, brett. flavor is sour, dry, fruity (citrussy), well balanced and refreshing overall 17 a very nice sour beer with a refreshing balance to the dryness from citrussy flavors.

375 ml. bottle shared by mreusch. Date on bottle is 15/04/2003. Pour is hazed golden orange with with a noisy bubbly 2 inch head. Aroma of burnt rubber, and funky sour lactic cheesiness. Very sharp tartness. There is wood present as well. Doesn’t sound real good, but it was very assertive and soft at the same time - nice nose. Taste is the acidic sour mineral cheesiness of the nose. Big funk, big tart, big sour. The intensity fades a bit as it opens up, and like the nose, softens up nicely. This beer tastes very alive. Palate is dry - funky, sour and lasting. This was a lot of fun to try, thanks a million Matt.

Bottle marked Feb. 23, 2006. Pours with a small white ring over a hazy orange body. Aroma of oak, citrus sour, wood, chalk and a hint of 3Font yeastiness. Pretty generic, not too funky or really that complex. Taste is sour, but not puckering, hay and tart lemon. Very dry with very light carbonation (hardly any).

Bottle 75cl. @ home.[ Trade by yespr ]. Light unclear golden color with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is barnyard, grapefruit, citrus, cask wood, sour, so complex and so easy ;o)). Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, very refreshing and dry. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is lively. [20081221] 9-5-9-4-19 Bottle 750ml.Clear medium golden yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy horse blanket, barnyard, leather, fruity, wood, light citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, balanced, fruity, tart, barnyard notes, dry, bubblegum notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.
