Bottle thanks to bu11zeye (yes, this is the vintage, bottled 13/04/02, with "vintage" clearly labeled on the bottle). Pours with a huge, foamy, off-white head that lasts over a hazy orange body. Aroma of funk, apple, caramel, fruity esters, wood, must, library books, earthiness, and some honey dew and honey suckle when it warms. Taste is sour, woodsie, woddy, with must, light strawberry, light citrus. Very clean overall, but not as adventurous as the regular oude gueze. Not particularly puckering. Fizzy carbonation.
