Update: Re-rate @ RBBSG II.
Reddish brown colour, small white head. Aroma of fruit, cherry, raisins and raspberry pips and old framboise. Brilliant sour flavour, champagne, raspberry, raspberry pips, fresh and fruity. Sour and fruity finish.
If anything, it even gained strenght compared to 4 years ago when I last had it. Good beer and aging well.

Unfortunately this marvelous beer has not been brewed for a while, but the brewer told he was thinking of making it again With some friends we shared a bottle at the 3 fonteinen restaurant. It is a shiny deep red brew with a pretty pinkish head. It has a delightful, fresh fruit aroma, with champagne and some honey. The taste is beautiful fruit, nice acidity and tartness, reminding of champagne and red wine.

375cl Bottle (14-12-2007), bought at the brewery shop. Smell of cherries, a nice yeast tone and some balsamic vinegar. Has a beautiul, deep red colour. Minimal head when pouring which disappears quickly. Delicate cherry flavour with slight sour tones. Loaded with fruit and rather sweet, but not the syruppy sweetness of more commercial kriek beers. Definately a great beer.

Bottle, pours bright yellow with a tall white head. Smells sour and funky. Flavors are very sour, more so than any other I have had. Ends with a lingering dry sour note. This is good.

Bottled on Feb 14, 2007 thanks to Yem25. Pours with a lightly pink, creamy head and a very muddy, deep red body with great lacing. Aroma is champagne notes with raspberry, horse hair, vinegar, cherries, pineapple, vanilla, toffee and mustiness. Taste is complex with champagne, raspberries, oats, barnyard, cherries...Complex and clean. Light amount, but tickling bubbles with a dry mouthfeel.

Bottle, 6.5%. Very nice fruity aroma, hint of dry wood, and slightly spicy. Cloudy dark orange colour. The flavour also has a lot of fruit, some grape notes, slightly sweet. Very nice finish, a good dry bitterness, as if from grape. Very well-rounded, easy to drink and pleasant throughout.

Bottle, 6.5%. Well-balanced fruity and dry aroma, grapefruity and refreshing. Like dry wood with a little acid. Cloudy orange colour. Very big stable white head. The flavour is much of the same with the fruit, grapefruity and dry wood, only with more acid, so it is even more refreshing. I had high expectations for this one, and I was not disappointed. Very balanced and drinkable. I could drink this for a long time and not get tired of it.

Intense bright red, slightly hazy with slight white head. Aroma of musty cherries. Nicely sour throughout, with wet blanket finish. Nicely complex, a real winner. Bottle, shared with Bastien, Arne, Cameron, courtesy of Armand and his wife. Delicious, top notch, can’t say enough.

Bottle at De Heeren van Liedekercke. 75cl. Hazy unclear orange with a large fluffy white head. Dusty, brett, vague vinegar. Sour aroma. Soft and full bodied. A bit more rough/sour than the roze. Lively carbonation. Super dry, fruity, tart, refreshing and crisp. Lovely lambic. Re-rate: Bottle @ Too many geuze’s only one toilet, Ulfborg 2012. Manuer, funk and barnyard. Super crisp and dry. Dammn. 4,3 - 4,4.
