A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light dusty hop note, while the flavor is acidic malty with strong notes of metal, which carries all the way thru to the finish, which is dry. Not good.

[Bottled, thanks oh6gdx] Clear golden, rich head. Vague aroma of wet paper. Sweet and light bodied, but it does have some substance. The raisiny wort flavour is not overpowering. The mouthfeel is dull and hard, and it has no bitterness. Standard N/A.

Bottle@Manchico, Madeira. Pale/golden beer with a light head. The flavour is malty with a bitter finish and a generally gasey hopped nature. The aroma is sweet and quite fruity. Overall an OK beer but quite thin.

Bottle@Santo do Serra, Madeira. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is sugary syrup and the flavour is syrupy sweet and like sugar water with a hint of citrus, grass and chemical bitterness. Overall a poor beer.

Bottled, draught and canned. Pale golden colour, mediumsized to small white head, and something between foamy and bubbly. Aroma of malts and hops. Flavour sweetish malty and hops kicking in in the finish. A bit watery to the palate. Both aroma and flavour has hints of unclean tap in the draught version, but later when testing bottled and canned, the same skunkyness is also in those.
