Bottle: Deep amber coloured, presumably hazy - some floaties visible, big stable fluffy off-white head; moderate caramelly and sourish (dark-) fruity nose, yeasty and wheaty traces detectable; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour with a bitter touch, quite soft, light to medium bodied; sweetish-sourish finish with caramel and cacao. Nice Dunkelweizen.....

Bottle: Golden, visible carbonation, smaller - slowly collapsing - white foam; distinctive clean sweet pale-malty nose with a delicate lemony-hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, loght to medium bodied; increasing herbal to "woody" hoppiness towards the sweet pale-malty - spiced with a taste of honey - finish. Fine, fine "diluted Märzen".......

Blue bottle: Pale greenish-golden, hazy, stable small lacy white head; distinctive aromatic to grassy-sweaty hoppy nose, pale malt and - caused by the yeast - a certain fruitiness underneath; dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and soft; shorter hoppy-malty finish, a faint yeasty fruitiness included. O.K. ......

Bottle: Golden with an orangey touch, cloudy - clumps of yeast visible, almost medium-sized creamy and lacy white head; faint cloves and bananas in the sweet-sour wheaty nose; moderate sweet-sour flavour, medium bodied, quite smooth; lemons and tart lemon-peel in the relatively dry sourish-sweet finish. Good Weizen.....

Good and pleasant....

(bottle) Hazy, reddish amber colour with a big and dense tanned foamy head. Slightly yeasty and sour wheaty aroma with notes of bubblegum, berry-fruits, caramel and phenolic spices. Slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Initially berry-fruity and wheaty taste with notes of bubblegum and late arriving toasty and caramelly notes towards finish and aftertaste. The dark malt-character could be more enhanced. 20.V.10

(bottle, 33cl, purchased at Hirschbrauerei Söhnstetten) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a thick foamy white head. Moderately sweet malty and minimal yeasty aroma with subtle grainy notes and a tinge of herbal hops. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Pale malt character with notes of grain and a touch of honey; medium-dry sweet malty and shy hoppy finish with just a whiff of bitterness. Clean and pleasant to drink. 09.V.10

(bottle, 33cl, purchased at the brewery) This one is labelled slightly different than the other beers of the brewery. Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Slightly sweet pale malty and slightly draffy aroma with a tinge of citrus and flowery hops. Moderately sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly malty base with herbal and slightly floral and subtle citric hoppy elements; dry, soft malty and mildly bitter hoppy finish. Fine and pleasant Pilsener, also a bit inconspicuous. 08.V.10

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly yeasty, doughy malty aroma with herbal and grassy hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively, but well-matured carbonation. Soft pale malty base with a good dash of herbal and slightly grassy hops, leading into a dry and hop bitter finish. Very nice. 07.V.10
