Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours slightly hazy ruby with small off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, fruit and hops, with touches of roast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweetish touches of malt and fruit and notes of roast. Oily texture. Rather low carbonation. Acetic aftertaste with roasty touches. Okay.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB Aug 2015, large sample. Slight hazy copper color with a reddish glow, short frothy light brown head. Aroma is quite spicy, roasted and burned malts, slight raisin, like a belgian strong ale, although it is bottom fermented. Bit sweet in taste, some bitterness from spices and malts. Feels like a belgian strong ale.

Bottle from trade with Bierkoning, many thanks Edo! Sehr dunkelbraunes Bier mit einer geringen aber feinen bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Torf, Rauch, Holz, Whiskey und Alkohol. Geschmack süß holzig, röstmalzig, viel Torf, Holzfass, sehr intensiv, etwas alkoholisch, gut!
