Trevlig.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours hazy golden with a big frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of sticky lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is malty and floral with freshly baked white bread, sourdough crackers, hay, dried flowers, honey, minerals and lemon peal. taste is tiny sweet, slightly bitter, slightly malty and floral. Mouthfeel is crisp, round, tiny dry and light to medium bodied. finish is tiny sweet and slightly bitter with fresh bready malts and pleasant floral honey hops. Solid refreshing pils. Nicely balanced but wouldn’t mind a slightly heavier bitter bite.

Bottle. Hazy dark golden, white frothy head, some lacings. Faint aroma of new world hops, citrus, grass, minimal white bread. Taste is medium sweet with obvious hop tone, not only dry and grassy but flowery, almost fruity. Finishes slight bitter with a slight sweet tone. Light body, high carbo. Good beer but not quite a german pilsner in my opinion.

Lots of prunes and raisins. Nice body and a soft ish carbonation. Oily texture. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Decent beer, although it was not actually my cup of Baltic porter.

(330ml bottle from Systembolaget) Pours fairly hazy medium orange with a small, fine, lingering white head. Aroma is citrus, slightly dank and earthy, marmalade, papaya, grassy, pine needles, slight bread and caramel. Flavour is heavy on citrus and some weed, fresh grass, pine needle, earthy, lightly sweet malts with a touch of biscuit. Dry in the finish with moderate pith and dry grass bitterness. Medium full body, slightly creamy soft carb. Nothing to really stand out here, but a solid dry citrusy IPA with a restrained malt profile.

Bottle. Hazy yellow, medium white foam dissipating quickly leaving lots of lacings. Aroma is sweet citrus notes, lots of fruit, minimal lactose. Taste is citrusy (more so than the average IPA) balanced with pine, zest and a kicking bitterness with a fair amount of dryness in the finish. Medium body, medium carbo, dry texture.

Tasting at Mr Smith’s Skyflat. Thanks to Leighton. Lightly hazy paleish gold beer, bitterish pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and minerally crisp. Very light pale malts, mild sweetness. Light floral sweetness. Mild citrus underneath, a touch of juicy orange rising above. Light semi dry finish. Quite German tasting - I guess unsurprisingly!
