Backlog October 2015. Slightly unclear pale golden body under a thin, fading white head. Mild aroma of acidic apple. Taste is fresh, acidic apple, tart. Medium body with dry, acidic aftertaste. Nice and refreshing cider.

Bottle picked up from the Sidra museum near San Sebastian. A light hazed bright yellow greenish colour pour with a fading white fizz. Aroma is semi sweet, clean juice, light bark, white sugars, white grape. Flavour is composed of tart, bitter apple, zesty crisp apple curd, pinch of acid clean tart apples. Palate is tart, zesty prickly carbonation. Good fun.

From barrel at the Sidra House. A hazed golden coloured pour with a fading white froth. Aroma is tart and funky, lemon, tart, earthy bark, some alcohol on the nose. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tart, prickly tart apple, dry woody finish, mellow funk. Palate is tart and tangy, mellow moderate carbonation.

27/10/2020. Sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers Mat! Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sharp apple, citrus, green apple, touch of funk. Moderate sweetness and medium sour. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Sharp, tart and dry to finish. Quite decent.

Sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers Mat! Pale yellow gold colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of sharp funk. Taste is sourish, apple, some funky notes along with citric acidity. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry soured finish. Quite drinkable.

75cl bottle, huge thanks to Alex Taboada for this! Relatively clear golden yellow with the faintest mist. Some floating sediment. Lightly sharp funk on the nose. Has a nicely sharp fruity sour character, crisp and dry with good emerging fleshy fruit, fresh citrus with some sour gooseberry, rounded off with an apple skin bitterness. Decent sidra.
