This is one of the wateriest beers I can remember, but oddly enough it’s still better than most macrobrews. Aroma is slightly sour/musty, taste is invisible, like a watered down beer. Probably very refreshing in the deserts of Namibia, not so much on a cool german fall evening...

Can courtesy of Nisse666. Pours pale golden with a small offwhite head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and spicy with cereal, white pepper, wood, grape zest, orange zest and persimmon. Taste is slightly sweet and tiny bitter with cereal, grass, canned corn, orange zest, wood, dry soil and hints of gastric acid. Mouthfeel is slightly round, tiny tart and light bodied. Finish is tiny bitter and tiny sour with cereal, persimmon, lemon zest, dry soil and wood.

Słaby afrykański lager, który nawet nie spełnia funkcji gaszenia pragnienia. Piana szybko znika, a aromat zastosowanego taniego słodu kukurydzianego przeszkadza aż nadto. Niewarto kosztować

Green 340ml bottle, best before April 09, drank 15th Mar 09 (just in time). Obtained from ’Beers of Europe’, Nambia must have moved since I last looked at the globe! Poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru tulip shaped glass. Looked a good golden yellow, bright and clean with a large white head comprising of big bubbles. The aroma was of a yeasty farmyard and cereals. The taste was weak, almost tasteless, neither sweet nor dry, not sour or anything really. The front label claims it is brewed under the 1516 German ’Reinheitsgebot’ but it didn’t taste or feel like a German pilsner, maybe the water doesn’t suit the process? Luckily I had been cutting the grass before drinking this. What some on here would call a ’Lawnmower beer’ I believe.

Slightly fruity malt aroma. Sour and tangy malt flavor with a vaguely grassy hop tone and with a hint of alcohol.
