Slightly more character than the average African lager, it still disappoints, given the local German history. Look elsewhere.

Initial Rating Date: 9/20/2008340 ml bottle at "Man in the Moon", Stockholm. On May 21, 2005Clear pale straw yellow color, small white head. Malty and cron scent and taste. Medium to moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness. My friend warned my about this one, but I really wanted to try a beer from Namibia. Well, I tried it, not I really don’t need to do the same again, at least not with this beer...

Bottle - Golden in colour. Lightly malty aroma. Slightly soapy taste with some malt. Rather odd and even thoguh it is slightly out of date, it shouldn’t taste this strange.

Bottle @ SAf restaurant Tjing Tjing. Pale golden, disappearing white head. Aroma of malts and grass. Taste is a little malts and some hops, a bit grassy. Very clean, thin lager, very refreshing. Dry finish.

Bottle. Pours pale/clear piss yellow with a off white head. Aroma & taste is grassy & hoppy. Quite fresh - though sweet. Low carbonation. Thin body. Could have been a lot worse since its an African pale lager!

(Bottle 34 cl) Clear golden with a tall and frothy white head. Slightly synthetic citrus aroma. Light in body, sweetish citrus, fresh as lemon pop but also chemical and artificial with an astringent finish. 120508

(Bottle 34 cl) Clear orangey brown with a dense, creamy, beige head leaving laces. Aroma of roasted malt, Danish rye, nuts and and alcohol. Quite full-bodied with plenty of sweet, roasted malt, burned caramel and nut accents. Subdued bitterness. This really is a genuine malt bomb, and this is an excellent Bock. No denying that Namibia is an old German colony. 120508
