Aroma is moderate malty, bread, roasted, light chocolate, light hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, chalk, dark malt, grassy notes. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sharp hops, mistreated hops like they want the last drop out of it, cardboard. Bottle. A clear one, dark brown in color and with a thin, light beige head. It’s quite vegetal on the nose, with roasted malts and some grassy hints. The flavor has caramel, roasted malts and some cooked vegetables. Dry, medium bodied. Roasted finish with a touch of chocolate. Well, not a very well made schwarzbier, but it would be acceptable if they got rid of the DMS. 110821

Bottle. A clear one, golden in color and with a small, white head on top. The aroma has a nice hoppyness, but it’s not much maltyness to be detected. Grass and some flowers too, quite fruity. The flavor has a fine, subtle bitterness, with fruityness, grass and some flowery hints. A bit sweet on the palate, medium bodied. Bitter, fruity finish. A quite decent one, drinks easy and doesn’t taste bad either. 110821

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, white head. Slightly grainy on the nose, with a nice, piney and grassy hoppyness. Grainy foundation in the flavor, with a nice bitterness as well as flavors of pine cones, grass and some herbs. Medium body, dry. Lasting finish with a fine bittereness. A quite decent one, at least when considering it’s made for some chain. 110821

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours unclear amber with a small creamy head and lacings. Paper, grain, and corn. A bit of bread and caramel. Medium bodied.
