Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear dull gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a slightly funky straw and light fruit with a touch of rasa backing. Flavor has slightly tart light citrus with a bit of sweet grains and straw backing.

330 ml bottle, bottled Feb 18, 2021, shared by Nico, thanks! Straw colored body, with a big, fluffy, off-white head. Aroma of wooden barrel, almond, citrus, lemon candy, hops, some dough, some spices. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes smooth, spicy, wooden, citric, a bit doughy. Tasty. Very smooth and balanced, with the gin barrel very well integrated. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

Typische Afterthought smaken, dit keer wat aan de (te) scherpe en wat zure kant, ben er daarom ook niet helemaal weg van..

Wine barrel aged fruit sour blend, with some of the basic beers (though not all) containing raspberries and cherries. Thanks tderoeck for sharing at the Sambre saison fest of June 2022. Thin, loose and open, bubbly, snow white ‘head’, hazy warm yellow blonde robe with rosy glow (the latter from the diluted fruit sours, I presume). Aroma of wet oak wood, apple peel, unsmoked shag, paprika powder, roses, farmland and strong sulfuric aspect (freshly lit matches). Tart onset, purple gooseberry, sour grape and green apple, medium carbonated with supple, somewhat vinous body; cereally malt core dried by lactic and lemony sourness, even rhubarb- and sorrel-like (sharp oxalic acid), yoghurty as well, the dryness further enhanced by woody tannins and ongoing sour green-fruitiness. Lots of sour fruit effects here from not only the basic beers, but also fermentation itself; I cannot say that I found the nose very attractive, but the flavour made up for a lot. Interesting attempt.

0,33l bottle at home shared by Nico, big thanks. Light yellow color, small white head. Smells spices, peppery, gin, juniper, nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation. Tastes citric, grassy, juniper, peppery, spices, some wood. Finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of peppery, citric and juniper lots. Pretty good one, rather special, by European standards not overly special.

18/VI/22 - 50cl bottle @ De La Sambre Saison Festival, BB: n/a (2022-726) Thanks for sharing!
Pretty clear orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, funky, very fruity, apricots, brett notes, nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity up front, very lemony, fruity, a little bitter, some yellow peaches, dry. Aftertaste: fruity, very acidic, funky, lemon juice, hint of grapefruit, dry and rather bitter finish.
Frothy head and fizzy and carbo, aroma is funky, slightly sour, a bit too high for this complexity and balance, still ok
