Draft pour at The Collective, as part of their brewery night. Collaboration with Solera brewing from what I’ve heard here at the place. Amber pour with a very thin head. Big raisin like aroma. Very boozy, but in their defense, they advertise it this way. Boozy, dark fruit finish. Rough, but could be much worse.

Draft 14 oz pour at The Collective, as part of their brewers night. Pours a golden amber color with a thin foam head. Super wheat heavy beer here. I was unsure about this at first, but it grew on me. Slightly tart, but not enough to give it the kick I love. It’s a sour fruit, but I can’t pinpoint what it is. I’m assuming it’s a blend of a bunch that renders it unrecognizable. Wheat, and grain overkill, but far from bad. Rating #1969. I heard nothing great happened that year. Good beer here.

Draft pour pint at the Collective, as part of their brewers night. Rating #1968, the year that brought us Madison Square Garden and Led Zeppelin. Semi cloudy golden pour with a hop heavy sweet fruity aroma. Crisp flavor up front, with a ton of juicy, semi sweet citrus throughout. Higher carb, mild bitter citrus finish. Premier imperial here. Full makeup of a great IPA. Loved it.

Draft @ Beer wars. Had to seek this out as it was listed at 117 IBUs on the sheet... who knows if that’s true or not, but it does create some buzz. Poured a golden orange with plenty of beige head. Nose is stale, sort of wet cardboard and floral notes. Tastes about the same. Something didn’t go according to plan here. Unpleasant.

On tap at The Pourhouse, pours a hazy amber brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is light, with toasted nuts and toasted caramel bready notes. Flavour is quite restrained, with toasted nuts and bready malt. Thin palate but with good balance. Okay but lacking.

Can from Malt & Vine. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma seems a mix of apple and white grape. Less than medium body. Flavor is fruit - could be grapefruit, something that might be apple - the grape didn’t carry through to flavor, and the malt is rather bitter - but it’s malty. It’s a little spicy/earthy - which is likely the cluster. It’s growing on me; it’s a good drink; it’s not really exciting. It is very hoppy. Each quaff seems to finish with a fruity sweetness. Weird given the bitter.

Can from Malt & Vine. Pours light gold with a slight white head. Light grassy aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is mostly bitter grassy with a hint of malt backbone. It is dry and bitter. Reasonably sessionable.
