12oz bottle. Dark amber-brown color. Medium bodied, similar to a dunkel with a little more hop balance. Lots of caramel malt flavors. Pretty good for a session dark ale, but a little thin and watery.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours clear copper with off white head and some nice lacing. It has a pleasing malty aroma of roasted malts, caramel and nuttiness to go along with a faint hint of buttered bread. The taste has a nice mix of roasted malts, caramel and mild nuttiness. I also get some sweet molasses and a hint of pine hops wondering around deep in the background. Tasty malty brew with enough roasted malt dryness and mild hoppiness to keep the varied malty sweetness in check.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours brown with amber highlights and lasting thin tan head. The aroma is nutty and caramel along with malt roastiness. The taste is roasty malts mixing with yummy caramel and a bit of dark fruitiness. It then becomes nutty with mildly drying roasted maltiness and more caramel goodness into the finish. Way in the background is a very complimentary pin hop note. This is tasty.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours opaque hazy gold with straw highlights and bright white head. Classic look with some sheet lacing to boot. The aroma is mild with grain malts, a hint of wheat and a vague hoppiness. The taste is non-wheat maltiness up front with hints of grainy malts and faint wheat. The wheatiness does grow to go along with notes of ripe banana and a hint of bubble gum as the finish approaches. I also get a hop bite tingling away in the background. Pretty nice hefe.
