Bottle (bought at the Pivni Galerie, Prague): Golden coloured, thin, but lacing steady head; bready maltiness in the nose; slightly sweetish start; mild bitter flavour, ending in a moderate, but a bit tart, bitter-grainy finish, longer lasting. All in all: O.K. !

A red-brown beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet fruity, and so is the flavor, but the flavor also has distinct malt notes, unfortunately the body is thin.

Golden color, small white head. Sweet butterscotch-hoppy aroma. Diacetylic, buttery flavor with hoppy finish. Malty, medium-bodied. Bitterish finish. Diacetyl aroma and flavor are on the edge are they good or bad, otherwise quite drinkable.

Bottled. Black colour with red hints, beige head. Sweet malty caramellish aroma. Sweet malty flavour, but the sweetness feels a bit artificial. Sweet aftertaste, mainly of malt.

Bottled. Golden colour, small bubbly head. Aroma surprisingly sweet, mainly of malts and hops. Sweet malty flavour at first, then lots of hops. Clean flavour though, no bad sideflavours.

Honey golden with good creamy white head. Aroma is woody, slightly malty and wheaty. Sweetish malty, bready, medium-bodied. Hoppy leafy finish. Bitter aftertaste. Quite typical Bohemian pilsener: clean and well-balanced.

Dark ruby/brown with a creamy tanned head. Woody and caramelly aroma. Starts caramelly sweet, in the finish hops come up nicely. Dry bitterish aftertaste. Well-made dunkel, propably a good session beer.

Golden beer with orange shine, well-carbonated; thinnish, just off-white head. Green fresh leaves, bit of grass, caramel or even toffee in the nose - alcohol no doubt. Very sweet-alcoholic taste, gets immediately into throat warming, retronasal brandy flavour. Cookies & caramel, ending very sweet-alcoholic. Faint, faraway honey flavour. As said, warming, burning MF, body is much thinned by the exceptional ABV. Sadly rather one-dimensional. Better than most E.S.L., however.

From the tap at the Beer Gallery - Pivni Galerie in Prague-Holesovice: dark golden, medium, lasting foam, full malty, bready nose, also malty ( caramel, cookies) taste leading to a long lasting, hoppy finish, well balanced, well quaffable, comes quite near to the Prazdroj.............
