Draft at the Rootz Winterbeer Festival ’16. Clear dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of medicinal scotch barrels, caramel, toffee, light overripe dark fruit and malt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at home. Clear golden with nice white head. Apple juice, lots of honey, sweet grains, light herbs and some weird yeasty notes. Over medium sweet and medium herbal bitter. Over medium bodied with slick feel. Not good.

Bottle at home. Near clear light amber poor with fluffy white head. Sweet toasted malts, big yeast and mild spices, coriander, lime, apricot, yoghurty doughiness. Medium sweet, light lime zest, under medium tea leaf bitter. Under medium body, strong fizzy carbonation. Tea dry mouthfeel, sweet and tart lemon finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Saison on 18 Dec 2017 at 17:01 - Score: 6. Original review text: 3

Bottle at home. Almost clear golden with small white head. Peach, banana, sweet grains, dough, light milky yeast, cardboard, cloves, metallic and plastic finish. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Once again Arn makes a beer that’s not a great example for the style, but at least this is drinkable.

Bottle shared at home. Slight hazy golden with fluffy white head. Pineapple, sour berries, quite some fruity Brett notes basically with some hay, gooseberries, sweet malts, light herbs and honey. Light sweet, under medium sour and light bitter finish. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. More like a sour/wild than a blond, which I guess is unintentional but not horrible.

Sampled from tap at ’Jopen Proeflokaal Waarderpolder’. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, fruity, floral aroma of orange, mango and tangerine. Sweetish, grainy, fruity and a little floral taste of orange, mango, grains and straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, but too grainy.
