Draught at the brauhaus
Cloudy red-amber color, with creamy head. Mild caramel and malt aroma. Good body, soft mouthfeel, with some residual sweetness; caramel flavor, but missing some better malt quality; the bitterness level is more controlled here, but it would benefit from some better aroma hop. Roasted nuts final. Pleasant.

Dark mahogany color; creamy head. It has mild and sourish aroma of roasted malt. Roasted malt flavor, expected; here the bitterness is less annoying than in the other beers; quite dry. Not bad.

Muddy orange-amber color, with creamy head. The spicy wheat aroma is quite nice. The body is soft, with light residual sweetness, with wheat character, but unfortunately also with too high bitterness that kills this kind of soft beer.

Hazy golden color; creamy head. It has a nice aroma of biscuity malts. Quite good malt flavor, a bit crispy, wrapped in a smooth and lightly sweet body; the bitterness is quite high, actually the only note out of tune in this beer, being almost aggressive in the end. Rough, but not without interest.

Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, banana, bubble gum, fruity, clove. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20110425]

Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, citrus, friuty, lime, orange - citrus, light perfume - soap. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, straw, hay - grass, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110425]

[ As Waldkasino Steigerwald Schwarzbier ].Unclear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate malt, malt dusty. Initial flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter, finish flavor moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted bitter. 2 liter bottle@Helsinki Beer Festival 2011. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mild diacetyl along with some wheat, fruits, herbs and mild yeastyness. Flavour is quite much the same ina nice balance. Finishes quite yeasty and mildly wooden.

Hefig-herber Antrunk, trotz der recht dunklen Farbe sind Malzaromen vorerst nicht auszumachen. Hopfig, stärker ist aber der Bitterhopfen präsent, der sich zum Abgang hin noch ausbreitet. Hier auch etwas malzig, was sich der Bitterkeit unterordnet. Dennoch wirkt das Bier hier harmonischer als zuvor. Bitteres Weizen mit wenig Süffigkeit. 11/10/7/9//9

Fruchtiger, betont hopfiger Antrunk. Aromatisch setzt sich der Geschmack fort, im Vordergrund steht mehr die Getreidigkeit und die Herbe. Sehr frisch, in der Bitterkeit fast schon „nordisch“. Charackterstarkes Pils mit schönem Hopfenaroma. 9/12/12/12//12
