Not a great look - quite dull and pale. Thin head. The aroma is a bit of citrus and some muddled overripe fruits. Moderate bitterness. The malts are quite thin, and don't support much. The hops don't shine here; it's just lacking clear direction.

Sort of a dark straw colour. Thick head. The aroma is fresh malt - nice German malt maybe? The malt base really does come across well on the nose. Toasty and lots of rich clean malt on the palate, too. Not much hop other than a balancing earthy bitterness.

Dark amber. Bright. Just a thin head. Not all that much aroma. Not much palate impact, either. Moderate bitterness, light fruitiness. A neutral amber ale pretending to be an alt.

Dark brown with a nitro head. The aroma is thin coffee, a bit nutty, toasty, pretty classic Irish-style stout aroma. On the palate it's sort of thin, watery in the same way Guinness is these days. Still got some of that toasty/nutty thing going on but it definitely feels a bit hollow.

Smells of mellow caramelly malt, has good foam on a clear dark copper body. Flavour is heavy caramel and little else. Mouthfeel is full. It's drinkable though simple.

Good sweet hops on the nose, has weak foam on a weak gold body. Flavour is weak lager hops, oyster hints it seem. It has a weird aftertaste I don't agree with. It's clean and unintrusive but otherwise a janky mess.

Faint nothingness on the nose, has okay foam on a medium clear orangey gold body. Flavour is weak grain with some chalk. Mouthfeel is dry but tepid. It's a pretty weak excuse for a pale ale.

Smells of modest chewy sweet barley, has good solid foam on a deep blackish brown body. Flavour is muddy soft molasses, some coffee notes. Mouthfeel is full and smooth. It's not bad, a filling stout though simple.

Vague dark grain on the nose, boring, nothing else. Has bad foam on a weak dark ruby brown body. Flavour is okay spicy malt with some sweet molasses. Mouthfeel is full with good aftertaste. This is boring but gets the job done.

Weak citrusy grain on the nose, has okay foam on an okay clearish gold body. Flavour is mediocre semi-spicy grain with some sweetness. Standard fullness on the mouth. It's a boring saison but drinkable.
