50cl bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a slim white head some of which stays around. The nose has a faint grass and citrus zing. The taste has something grassy with a citrus follow up. The palate is light to medium bodied with a long zing, though the finish is a bit sudden. Overall, solid but not that exciting.

50cl bottle. Pours a nice honey colour with a slim head which disappears quite quickly. The nose is quite malty with honey. The taste is more of the honeyed malt with some biscuits. The palate is medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly clean finish. Overall, a decent bitter.

50cl bottle thanks to Lewis. Pours an orangey-amber colour - it’s very cloudy and there are big chunks of yeast which seems to be contributing to some sort of head. The nose has toffee, hay and an earthy spicy vegetal thing (parsnip again). The taste has more of the same - caramel, then tangy earthiness. The palate has a medium structure and texture with a nice clean finish.Overall, I like this a lot!

Cask @ Old Mill, Brodie [060713]
Amber, clear, dense white head
Aroma - pale fruits, damp slightly smoky hay, cereals, soft fruit
Taste - sweet caramel malt, tangy fruits, touch of damp smoky hay, alcohol bit noticeable, reasonable
Palate - Medium body, oily, quite sweet palate. Finish as main flavour, bit dry
Overall - Didn’t like this at first but got better down the 1/2 pint - but I only found it very average
