Bottle from SPAR, Vienna. Golden coloured, with no head but moderate carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt and citrus hops. Lightly malty flavour with a hint of lemon in the finish. A decent lager.

bottle, Interspar Linz. Clear pale golden colour, large white head. Malty nose. Malty and grainy, pleasantly hoppy, a bit more hoppy than expected in an Austrian Märzen. Nevertheless, well-balanced and absolutely not boring.

Test vom 12.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,8,10,7,12,9 - 9,05

The bottle looks good, but a little bit old. The beer in the glass is okay, not too light. Tastes very spicy but unfortunately also alcoholic. Not good for a landbier. Finish too sourish. Not really good.

06/01 0.5 l bottle from a Merkur in Graz. Poured clear golden body with medium head. Hoppy aroma, with some flowers and grass, but also some malt. Flavor quite bland at first, then with every sip goes better and better. Bittersweet, medium bodied with very light carbonation. Finish is shorter than it would be expected but pleasant. Quite good beer.

Aroma of pale malt and fruit, and perhaps noble hop. Golden color with a decent white head that laces a little. Thin to medium body with creamy carbonation. The flavor is light caramel with light noble hop. Arguably some sort of fruit that’s neither dark nor citrus. Or it could be the hop is a bit floral. I vote for some floral. It’s really very tasty.

Bottle, 5.2%. Weak honey aroma. Hazy amber colour. Small white head. Malty flavour with a little honey. Good yeasty feel in finish, and clean aftertaste, albeit with a hint of lager sourness.

Bottle, 5.3%. No aroma. Clear shiny yellow colour. Small creamy white head. The flavour is bready, rye bread, and slightly sweet. Not too flavourful, but well-balanced and pleasant. Looks filtered, but tastes nicely naturtrüb.

Bottle. Hay/grass and malt aroma. Pale yellow with minimal head. Sour malt, hay/barnyard and hops aromas. Really a decent bottled Landbier.
