0.5l swingtop bottle purchased at some Billa (I think) in Graz. Nice and pleasant aroma. Honey, some lemony hopiness and weak grain. Nice golden colour with a medium sized white head that went away at a medium pace (hah). The taste is great. Lovely subtle fruitiness and maltiness, honey again, subtle but lovely lemony hoppy background. Yes, dryish, and yet silky. Damn nice mouthfeel. Can’t find many faults with this one. Overall, a nice and refreshing, pretty underrated beer.

(swing top bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a fluffy beige foam. Hearty roast-malty aroma, slightly bready with caramel and a touch of dried fruits. Bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Roasty, malty taste with caramel and cacao; moderately dry, roasty and bitter finish with a lingering caramel/toffee-note. Aromatic, well-rounded brew.

(swing top bottle) Clear, yellow colour with a moderate, slowly lacing blond foamy head. Slightly sweet aroma of pale malt, also strawy with grassy hops and a touch of lemon. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium body with a crispy carbonation. Malt-accented taste with shades of honey; dry, slightly bitter, grassy hoppy finish. Well-done.

2006 bottle drunk on 11/5/06.
Very light blonde beer with some hay and light, dry grass tints. Creamy, but small white head demonstrates moderate to low retention, with light lacing. Small bubbles rise sporadically in the clear liquid.
Very hoppy nose is fresh, fruity and strking. Backed by light pils malt that smells of warm baguette and honey with just a hint of graininess. A lightly sweet buttercream note is evident, though I wouldnt go as far as to definitively call it diacetyl. The hops help break it up, however, with a very strong grassines and light pear and lime notes.
Sweeter than expected is the flavor, with vanilla, honey and sweet cream flavors adding a medium-full body. Grass clippings, light herbs and pear/nectarine skin notes add flavor, but seem to disappear from the finish rather quickly. Very low bitterness, only a light shot in the middle. Not as much lager yeast as was hoped for on the end either, leading to a bit of a sweet finish. Some dough and very light fruitiness lingers. Medium amounts of carbonation, a bit of wateriness and a slightly wet texture overall. No alcohol noted.

Test vom 12.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 14,12,13,13,15,13 - 13,05

Gold color. It has a pleasant lager aroma and medium bodied, malty lager flavor. Some malt and a little yeast, with a hint of lemon. Medium palate. The hops are very light. Low carbonation. A good session beer.

Taster at Binny’s, Orland Park. Interesting, but not distinguishable from any regular beer. Pale lager color.Taste has a pronounced sharpness and a slight fruity overtone that shows some ale yeast and hard water at work, though. I’ll have to get a whole bottle and give it a fuller appreciation.

A light yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, while the flavor is sweet with notes of both hops, yeast, and honey. But the body is thin. I find it boring.
