Bottle: Ruby-amber coloured, smaller, lacy off-white layer; sweet dark-malty and sweet fruity nose with a distinctive herbal hoppy touch, toasted malt is detectable too; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, soft creamy MF; toasted malt ind dried fruits in the solid sweet-bitter finish. Decent, well balanced Bock, absolutely not too sweet..........

Bottled. Hazy mahogany colour, creamy head. Caramelly nose with some burnt wheat buns. Sweet and near full bodied with wonderfully cottony soft mouthfeel. There’s spun sugar and toffee. With its mild malt softness all the flavours come out on full dsiplay. Not very complex, but extremely good. Bov’s bock beers are something out of the ordinary!

500ml bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen. Good looking, palisander body with a thin, off-white head. Smell of roasted malt with a sweet touch. Ingredients of sweet, dark malts, almost like vanilla caramel, and liquorice. Full mouthfeel with a rather strong alcoholic tingle (shared with Finn A. and Arild, 31.05.2008).
