Stout und Schoko passt normalerweise ganz gut zusammen. Aber hier schafft man es einfach nicht die eigentlich guten Aromen in Einklang zu bringen.

Appearance: Golden orange brown, hazy. Some off-white head. Aroma: Lots of fruit, honey. Slight alcohol. Taste: More fruit, but the alcohol is more prominent. Warming. Info: 375ml bottle, 17/7-2013, BB: 3/7-2014

Bottle from Drinks of the World, Bern. Cloudy brown pour with almost no head. Completely lifeless in fact. Big honey and malt aroma. Malty, medium sweet flavour. There is little on the palate. Nice enough to drink, but its no classic and unsuitable for a session.

Sample at Eurostash III tasting on 01/12/2012: Bottle from Drinks of the World. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium beige head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet cocoa and malt. Medium body with a powdered chocolate milk taste along with a bit of malt in the background. The finish is sweet and chocolatey with a hint of vanilla in the aftertaste as well. Difficult to find a Stout in Switzerland, and this was definitely interesting, although not a great beer.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw. Thanks joergen for sharing.

Bottled. An unclear yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of wheat, straw, and barley malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wheat, fruits, and straw.

Süßlicher, wenig würziger Antrunk, der hintergründige Honignoten beinhaltet. Durch die starke Karbonisierung kommen die Aromen aber nur teilweise an, später werden sie deutlicher. Dort ist es zudem malziger, die Süße ist stimmig. Mildes gelungenes Bier...9/8/9/7/8/8

Flacher Hefeantrunk, deutlich wässrig. Die Bananennoten halten sich deutlich zurück, stärker aber immer noch wässrig ist die Herbe. Auf diesem geringem Level bleibt das Bier, dazu kommt eine säuerliche Malzigkeit. Leider bleibt das Niveau auch weiterhin bescheiden, es gibt keinerlei Steigerung. Wirklich langweilig! 11/6/7/6/9/6
