swing top bottle (500ml). -Trade with Allen (thanks Julian!). Yellow/orange coloured, medium to big sized white head, fruity wheaty nose. Mild malty, yeasty and wheaty with citrusy and banana notes. Touch of cloves in the finish. Just ordinary weizen.

0.5l fliptop bottle courtesy of ogivlado who got it in a trade with Allen (thanks both!) Poured a lovely yellow-orange body, murky, witha big white, relatively thick head that went away at a medium pace. The nose is just as great, banana, herbs, some bubblegum and quite pleasant and pungent. The taste, however, is the ultimate letdown. The banana pops up again, being nice but then is cut short by an invasive dry finish. Yeah, some herbal notes pop up in there, cloves being more genuine than in the last 20 beers whose reviews I mentioned cloves in. Still, it gets cut off, along with the bubblegum and some lactic notes, by a quick bitter finish. Too dry to be refreshing, the taste is cut short to be pleasant. Overall, after the presentation, a disappointment. Ah well.

Appearance: Yellow golden, clear. Some off-white head. Aroma: Fruit and some apple. Some hops. Taste: Quite sweet. Fruit. Different. Info: 500ml bottle, 23/2-2010

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Allen!): A bit unclear, greenish-golden, creamy loose white head, sticking to the glass, light to moderate grainy-strawy nose with a tinge of "woody " hops; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite soft; slightly lingering hoppy and pale-malty finish. Good and moreish......

Bügelverschlußflasche (thanx to Allen!): Hazy, some floaties visible, rather quickly diminishing fluffy white head; shy bitter-grainy nose with a subtle (yeasty) fruitiness; moderate sweet-bitter flavour with a light acidity, light to medium bodied; a light yeasty tartness is detectable in the light sweetish-bitter finish. O.K. .....

(swing top bottle, 33cl, courtesy of Allen) Slightly unclear, greenish golden colour with a short foamy white head. Slightly sweet malty aroma with a distinctive grainy touch and light buttery accents, accompanied by shades of woody hops. Light-bitter flavour with a rounded malty sweetness, light to medium bodied, calm on carbonation. Pale malt-character with grainy and shy buttery accents; sweet and bitter, minimal woody hoppy finish. Nice and quite rounded brew. 19.I.10

(swing top bottle, 33cl, courtesy of Allen) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a big but quickly diminishing loose frothy head. Yeasty and herbal hoppy and subtle fruity aroma with a light-sweet malty and slightly grainy background. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with an initial sparkly carbonation, that flattens towards the finish. Yeasty malty and shy grainy taste with herbal accents, leading into a dry and moderately bitter, slightly herbal hoppy finish. Nothing special. 19.I.10
