Golden lager with small white head and some lace. Fruity aroma. Malty basic pale lager with a good body and soft balanced mouthfeel.

The B.O. doesn’t mean what you’re thinking, thankfully. Barely hazy light gold. Fruity hop aroma (lime, peach). Very fruity pils with moderate bitterness (25-27). Peachy notes and a hint of pale malt finish things off.

The unfiltered counterpart to Ope. Marginally hazy golden. Appley aroma with a hint of bread. Strangely spicy - tastes like I was just eating a pizza before sampling (I wasn’t). Anyway, it’s oddly fruity. I swear they’re making lagers with top-fermenting yeast.

Golden and clear. Deeply malty, saazy aroma. Flavour however is quite light, with hints of saaz and a reasonable amount of slightly toasted malt.

Golden colour, slightly hazy. Fruity with slightly more substance than Ope. Grassy bitterish finish. The bartender admitted that this beer is really an unfiltered version of Ope.

Golden, clear. No head. Fruity with mellow maltiness and short grassy finish. Ordinary.

Nut brown, no head. Light flowery aroma. Clean and caramelly. Medium dry and fairly well hopped with lingering, resiny bitterness. Decent, but unspectacular. What is spectacular in this brewpub is the service and the building which both are real class acts.

Brownish amber, some head. A hint of vinegar in the nose. Dry and dusty, sharp, thin and fizzy. Slightly roasty. Except for being dry, and having a slight touch of grassy bitterness this beer has not many redeeming features, and bears no resemblance to the style it's aiming at.

Sampled draught at Uusi Apteeki, Turku. Dark brown, with a toasty palate and dry finish. Decent dunkel, but nothing special.

Tan coloured; hoppy-fruity (rather Belgian) nose; yeasty, spicy, fruity palate. Honestly, put it down as a Chouffe-esque Belgian Ale until later that day at Plevna I was reading a Finnish beer mag and it said this was a bock.
