Corked bottle, at "Marche de Noël", Lausanne
Pale blond color. It’s fairly sweet, the floral honey note is a bit too strong in the aroma and also present in the flavor. Nevertheless it presents a good fruity side, and a good acidity level, and no bitterness that sometimes spoils imprecise meads. Warm and sharp final.

50 cl bottle on Feb 14, 2014.Clear golden color, no head, no legs. Alcohol, solvents scent. Sweet, honey taste, some alcohol. Warming. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, a it dry finish.Scent throws me off, but the taste saves the day.

Bottle at Hydromel, rue de la Tour, Lausanne
Blond color. Strong aroma of honey, mead and some alcohol. The mouthfeel is quite sweet, not yet syrupy; immediately there is a strong alcohol feeling; polyfloral honey flavor, with a light ending bitterness and maybe some very light chemicals; there is a mellow feeling in the end that can be a hint of vanilla oak and fresh wood (ash tree), otherwise the cask aging is not evident.
An ordinary one, but still balanced and quite pleasant.

Bottle 500ml.Clear light to medium yellow orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, spicy, moderate to heavy alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet with a long duration, spicy, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20100612]

Bottle, 14.5%. Weak alcohol and wax aroma. Very pale water colour. The flavour is sweet, has a little acetone, but also a good sweetness. Hint of citric fruit and wax. Late note of spicy honey.

Bottled. A pale golden mead. The aroma has notes of honey and pollen. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, honey, and pollen, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.
