Hazy bronze beer, disappearing off-white head. Caramel, brown sugar, anise. sweet and well balanced sweet/spiced Christmas beer...Not much bang for the buck though, considering 8.3%

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy, dark amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly spicy nose. Medium body, sweetish caramel malt and a wide palette of spices with star aniseed sticking out. Subdued bitterness. 201107

50 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange and with a diminished light orange head. Clove, annis seed, cardemomme, cinnamon and ginger spiced aroma (the whole lot it seems). Flavour is smooth sweet and only with a mild fraction of the spices from the aroma in the flavour. Reminds me of a belgian wit added with nice caramel sweetness. Finish holds a smooth wheat like texture and a belgian wit like flavour. Quite nice flavour, overspiced aroma.

KØ07. No aroma. Black colour, no head. Sourish hop flavour. Not roasted and not really reminding me much of stout.

KØ07. Hazy orange colour. Small, muddy white head. The flavour is OK, quite hoppy, but not that bitter. Sourish hoppiness.

Draft. A dark brown beer with a fast disappearing very bubbly head. The aroma is sweet with notes of dark milk chocolate. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chocolate, but also light roasted notes, leading to a dry bitter chocolaty end. The mouthfeel is flat.
