Bottle shared at Porterhouse, Dublin. Poured a light golden colour, with a small white head. Aroma has some malt and hops evident but overall not very nice, rather watery, and too highly carbonated.

Draught at the Headline. Hazy orange Amber with a solid head. Aroma is cinnamon and a little pumpkin. Sweetish malt, medium spiced with a little vanilla. Lovely tangy spiced finish, almost Christmassy.

Aroma of light fruits, soft spicy, slight clove, soft cereal, light nose
Taste of soft sweet malts, wheat, light clove, soft fruits, rather lacklustre flavour
Palate - medium carb and body, smooth, sweet palate. Finish as main flavour, sweet, light cereal linger
Overall - Soft easy going wheat beer, tad too sweet, flavour too mellow

Draught at ICBF14. Jet black with a solid head. Aroma is lemon zest. Flavour has a nice toasted hop, woody and chewy, smokey finish. Good.

Bottle at Mum and Dads, from Callans Dundalk, 30/08/14. Clear golden amber with a well appointed off white head. Nose is caramel malt, toasted bread, faint orange and citric peel. Taste comprises more caramel malt, bitter orange, candied sugars, light bready notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with faint hop bitterness. Not an IPA, kind of an ESB with a dose of hops or a lightly hopped APA. Sub par for style, no hops!

Bottle 500ml. [ As Trouble Brewing Dark Arts Porter ].Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, bread, caramel, chocolate. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, chocolate, mint, coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140222]

Bottle. (gift from a colleague, thanks Wolff), Slightly hazy amber/orange with a white head. Sweetish with toffee, grapefruit, malt and fruit. The finish was nicely bitter. A solid one, the best beer from Ireland that I have tried.

500 mL bottle. Pours a deep mahogany to brown, small tan head that dissipates quickly, no lacing. Muted biscuit aroma, banana, toffee, some apple or pear. Taste is the same with some rye spice added, very smooth and easy to drink for a red ale that can become very annoying and cloying by the end.

Deep orange amber, hazy, frothy white head, some lacing....aroma of caramelised orange, citrus hop, sweet fruity caramel malt background, a touch floral, resinous hops.... taste of bitter orange, big bitter orange zest, sweet fruity caramel malts, dab of toffee, malts are rather heavy, sticky resins, piney, alcohol noticeable, lots of flavour.... palate soft carb, medium to full body, sticky, quite oily, tangy, lots of bitter zest. Finish rich sweet caramel orange malts, sticky very bitter zest tail, a touch astringent .... Overall - Good strong IPA but a bit over stuffed though

Aroma slight malt, almost nothing
Taste of light caramel, soft cereal, light honey, then the digestive in the finish
Palate - Medium carb and body. Finish a bit dry, has an unusual slightly buttery digestive biscuit malt
Overall - OK, bit more going on here than the usual lager
