Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark pink-red color with a trace white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was vague artificial berry. The flavor was tartish and semi sweet with cardboard, cracker and faint vague artificial berry. Medium finish. Light body. Blah.

Pours clear dark amber with a medium sized off-white head and lots of lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, woody and vanilla. Flavors of whiskey, coconut, vanilla and woody
Decent, smooth, It doesn’t taste like a 12% beer

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours golden amber with a slight white head. Light sweetish caramel aroma. Not getting hop. Med body or nearly. Flavor is thin. There’s light caramel, and possibly a hint of spicy hop. Uncertain about that. Fits the style, seems quite clean, but it lacks substance.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours orange with a slight white head. Aroma is firmly raspberry, but for some reason reminds me of mosquito repellent. Not much body, and not a whole lot of flavor. There’s malt and light raspberry. Not harmful, but far from exciting. Had worse. Pretty sure about that.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a foamy beige head. Aroma of light malt and hop. Med body or so. Flavor is sharpish from the carbonation. Subsides to a rather bland caramel with enough hop to keep it from wholly tasteless. So there is a strongish flavor. Pretty much like nothing else I can remember having.

A dark amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy floral hops, OK. In mouth, a rather grassy sweet caramel malt, with light floral hops, watery and boring. Bottle at Downtown Brew fest LV 2013.
