Bottle, 6.5%. Malty aroma, a little sweet malts. Clear dark chestnut colour. The flavour is nicely malty. Not sweet, but well-balanced with the alcohol. A little creamy and a good alcohol mouthfeel.

Bottle from trade with Papsoe. It pours a clear, dark golden to brown body, topped by a small, off-white head. Quite neutral aroma with sweet malts and a touch of cellar. Slightly cellarish flavor too, with caramel and dried fruits. Full-bodied, and quite dry for a doppelbock. Sweetish finish with dried fruits. A quite boring doppelbock, far from impressing. (090327)

50 cL bottle. Pours almost clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Mild toasted malt aroma. Subdued sweetness and light bitterness in the flavour. Uncomplicated and straight forward, a bit boring. Ends medium dry.

Test vom 27.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,1,1,1,9,0 - 1,60
