Keg at Andrew Usher’s. Hazy brown body with a medium beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel, cinnamon and nuts. Flavour of metal, dried grass and bitter melon rind. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Flavoursome and easy drinking for the ABV.

Tap at Beer Hunters, Pori. Clear ruby-amber colour, small off-white head. Sticky berryish, caramelly, herbal aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish front, alcohol, herbal bitterness. Hints of toffee in the aftertaste. Not brown ale at all, more like American Brown Ale.

Vom Fass im Stone Brewing Berlin 2017-01 getrunken. Das Neujahrsbier 2017 für die große Silvesterfeier bei Stone wurde wohl mit Champanerhefe gebraut. Ein schönes, süffiges Pale Ale mehr aber nicht.

Vom Fass im Stone Brewing Berlin 2016-12 getrunken. Dies ist der Klassiker des Arrogant Bastard Ale durch ein Einsatz von Jägermeister nun mit einer deutlichen Kräuternote statt einer mir sonst zu heftigen Hopfennote. Ich sag mal trotz der "Arbeit" am Gaumen ist es spannend und eine kreative Idee - dafür gebe ich mal ein Daumen hoch. Ob ich es noch mal trinken werde - hmm schwer...wohl eher nicht. Doch ich glaube das ich kein Freund der Serie des Arrogant Bastard Ale werde.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; clear light copper pour with a bubbly beige head, aroma has toffee malts and red fruits, taste has sweet caramel, some citrus fruits, quite bitter, sweet red fruits.

Black color with a frothy beige head. Good lacing. Looks fine. Good intensity in the aroma. Full body and a mellow carbonation level. Decent sweetness and a fine bitterness. Good lasting flavor with chocolate, roast, vanilla and coffee. Tasty nice evening sipper.
