Draught at BD AGM. Beige creamy head stayed well on a hazy soil coloured body. Very smooth on palate, clean on the back. Slightly medicinal flavours of wheat, dark fruits, Coca Cola & grape. Loving this!

Keg at BD AGM. It pours deep ruby - brown with a small white head. The aroma is malt - driven, toasty, bready, wood, caramel, bubblegum and treacle. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, brown bread, cereal, toffee, coffee, treacle, slightly grainy, earth, chewy, booze, leather, spice and wood with a drying finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Not a lot of cohesion to this. Not too bad anyhow.

Says hefeweizen on the label taste likes a dunkelweizen.... Odd. It pours hazy dark brown with a medium off-white head. The aroma is toasty, woody, earthy, banana loaf, dull smoke, smoked sausage and coriander. The taste is dry, bitter, toasty, earthy, wood, herbal, spicy, wheat, leather, over ripe banana, charred wood, coffee and caramel with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent dunkelweizen overall.

The taste is dry, toasty, wood, earthy, brown bread, coffee, bit of red fruit, marmalade, brioche, touch green, grassy and some spice in the mix. Medium body and fine carbonation. Works fairly well.

Clear, red copper colored, medium off white head. Aroma is of malt, some caramel, metallic, some fruity hops although quite mild. Taste is better, medium sweet malt and caramel, some toasted bread, medium- floral and fruity hops, medium bitterness, dry finish, also some metallic notes. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Keg at The Pilcrow, Manchester, Saturday 1st April 2017 in the company of Dad and Barry. Pretty much clear just a little chill haze. Not getting that much coffee, but it does add a little to the mix, nice soft mouthfeel, a good bitter IPA, I like it but just feel that the coffee is not much. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

(Can, 0.33 l - canned on 14 Feb 2017, 20170329) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was large, nearly white and it lasted long. Aroma had caramel, malts and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were caramel, malts, saltiness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, mildly hoppy and bitter. A decent malty brew but too thin.
